Wow it's been almost three years since I've updated this blog. Anyways, more important news. I have stopped development on the PERL version of AOI :CMS: and am instead doing a PHP version. I'm gonna keep this post short and get back to my PHP coding. I intend to do more updates here as time allows.

I found a bug in libs/filesystem.cgi. I thought that I fixed that library a few months ago.. It's funny, if I leave a program alone for a while then get back to it I find a bunch more problems with it. Anyways the bug is in the error handling. The double pipe || after the open command used in the file opens do not trigger the or event of going to the error subroutine, instead it just dumps off

The accelerated english class that I took is over for this semester, I received a B. I had midterms in the computer class I am taking and did very well. I hope that once this semester is out I can get some more work on the web done. I'm trying to get some help, but I think that getting help is a full time job in itself.

I've been working on and off since 2004 on AOI :CMS:. This time around I have completely rewritten the entire code base for the project. Since I have become a more accomplished programmer over the years and I have set my sights on a obtainable goal for this release I hope to have the beta released by mid-fall.
